Andrea
Originally from Rochester, NY, Andrea began her dance training at the age of 5. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance at various studios throughout Rochester, and began her training in ballroom dance as a preteen. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University at Buffalo, where she has performed in various departmental productions. Andrea has been a ballroom dance instructor since 2012 and began dancing with Dmitriy in American Smooth & Rhythm, as well as Theater Arts. Andrea and Dmitriy performed and taught together aboard the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity cruise ships, and she was also seen dancing on WWE as the valet/dance partner for Fandango, and performed on their live national TV broadcasts. Andrea has also had the pleasure of dancing with her students at competitions and local Dancing with the Stars events in the Palm Beach area. She loves teaching students of all levels, and is excited to bring her love of dance to Palm Beach County.
Dmitriy
Dmitriy was born in Moldova, where he began his dance training at the age of 10. He obtained a Masters Degree in Choreography from the National Pedagogical University in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He has been a finalist and champion at many international competitions in countries such as Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Poland. He has also worked as a performer, choreographer, and dance coach on multiple cruise lines around the world, and was a cast member on “Dancing With The Stars” in Istanbul, Turkey, as well as local “Dancing with the Stars” charity events in Buffalo, NY. Since his arrival in the United States in 2012, he has achieved impressive results with his partner, Andrea, in the American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Theater Arts styles, as well as teaching and performing aboard Crystal Cruises. Dmitriy has also had the pleasure of dancing with his students at competitions and local Dancing with the Stars events in the Palm Beach area. He is experienced in teaching students of all ages and levels, and is excited to have a business focused on enriching the community.
Mariya
Originally from Kamchatka, Russia. Mariya fell in love with ballroom dancing
at the age of 13. After Graduating Moscow State University, she moved to the United States, where she continued her dance journey as a teacher and competitor.
Mariya competed with her professional partners, Tamas Kardos and Dmitriy Zavialov, in Open Rhythm category and achieved placements as US Rising Star finalists in multiple national competitions. Mariya has also had the pleasure of competing with her students in pro-am competitions and local “Dancing with the Stars” events (Boca Ballroom Battle, Dancing with the Spacecoast Stars, Dance Dream Inspire).
Mariya‘s favorite thing about teaching dance is the “a-ha!” moment students get during learning!

Jordyn
Jordyn was raised in Tampa, Florida where she started dancing at the age of 6. She studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance. At the age of 13 she was accepted into a local magnet high school for performing arts as a dance major. Over the course of 4 years she joined a dance company called STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) that brought the art of dance into public schools to help students learn through movement. After graduating, Jordyn took a break from dance to focus on her college education, and she recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Communications. She is now the first friendly face that people see when they come to our studio, and she is excited to see all the In Motion Ballroom students learn and grow!
